About ChemPro Systems
chem_pro_schematic

Vitrification is the process of converting a material into a glass-like amorphous solid, which is free of any crystalline structure, either by the quick removal or addition of heat or by mixing with an additive. ChemPro Systems uses vitrification technology to neutralize the harmful properties of any material being remediated. The results of our vitrification process are inert, non-biodegradable commercial building materials. ChemPro’s inline system enables different physical product forms ranging from aggregate to mineral wool. The versatility of the technology allows many different waste streams to be processed.

The ChemPro Systems technology is the only process certified by NJ DEP for permanent remediation of Chromite Ore Processing Residue or COPR. In most instances there is no further administrative action or deed restriction requirements.
